Steven A. Mackie
Steven A. “Steve” Mackie, 57, of Albion, passed away after a long fight on March 20, 2020. He was born Aug. 30, 1962 in Toronto, Canada to George and Gwen (Johnston) Mackie.
Steve enjoyed riding his motorcycle and working on it whenever he could. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local#46. He enjoyed spending time with his nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, and he was a friend of Bill W.
Steve is survived by his mother, Gwen; brothers, Paul and Darin (Tammy Cary); niece, Samantha (Patrick) Kennedy; nephew, Travis; great-niece and great-nephews, Peyton, Nathan and Ethan; and many close friends, including Bill W.
There will be no calling hours. A private graveside service will be held at Mt. Albion Cemetery, with a celebration of Steve’s life announced at a later date.
Memorial contributions in Steve’s name may be made to a charity of your choice.
Steve’s arrangements have been entrusted to Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 21 West Ave., Albion.
