Stephen P. Lane
Stephen P. Lane, 78, of Portage, Pa. died Aug. 31, 2021 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Steve was born Aug. 3, 1943 in Rochester NY, the son of Amos and Marion (Walters) Lane.
Preceded in death by his parents, and brothers: Donald and Charles. Survived by his wife of 41 years the former, Ruth L. Shaw; children: Shawn (Donna) of Angier, NC; Michele Frank) Maniaci of Batavia NY; Patrick (Debra) of Byron, NY; stepson, Steven McAllister of Huntington, Pa.; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; brother of: Beverly Brennan of Brockport, NY; Judy Lane of Holley, NY; and Richard Lane of Clarendon, NY.
Steve was a member of Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, Johnstown, past member of Portage Boro Council.
No viewing or visitation. Funeral service will be held Sat., Sept. 4 at 3 p.m.at Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints, Walters Ave., Johnstown. PA. Inurnment Liberty Park Cemetery, Cattaraugus, NY.
