Stephen F. “Frank” Schubmehl

Stephen SchumbehlHOLLEY – Stephen F. “Frank” Schubmehl, 81, died Sept. 28, 2020 in his home following a long illness.  He was born July 12, 1939 in Warsaw to Stephen and Elsie (White) Schubmehl and had lived in this area most of his life.

Frank was a former volunteer for the Caledonia Fire Deparment, a former member of the LeRoy BPOE Lodge, and was heavily involved in the Holley Community Center where he was active in the Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign.  He was a very social person who took great pride and received great pleasure in watching and participating in the activities of his grandchildren.

Frank is survived by his children: Stephen (Robyn) Schubmehl of Holley, Karsonda Switzer of Ariz., Stephen (Wendy) Schubmehl of Nev., Susie (Ramon) Villanueva of Calif.; his brother, Richard Schubmehl of Retsoff, his sisters: Doris Bishop of Caledonia, Nancy Bishop of Retsoff, Linda Snyder of Caledonia; his cherished grandchildren: Stephen, Bailey, Deanna, Ramon, Sylvia, Veronica, Elizabeth; 5 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Sat., Oct. 10 from 1-3 p.m. where his funeral service will be held following visitation at 3 p.m.  Interment will be at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, 70 Liberty Pole Way, Rochester, NY 14604.
