Shirley A. Fuller

SHELBY – Shirley A. Fuller, 81, of the Town of Shelby, entered into rest at her home on Wednesday, December 30, 2020. She was born April 13, 1939 in the Town of Royalton, a daughter of the late John and Gertrude (Wolfe) Glena.

Shirley married Charles E. Fuller on February 11, 1956. She worked as a bus driver for the Medina Central School District for many years. Shirley was also a lifelong active member of the Shelby Volunteer Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed camping, spending time at the lake, bowling, playing cards and bingo. A snowbird, Shirley also enjoyed wintering in Florida.

Besides her parents, Shirley is preceded in death by an infant son, Douglas Fuller; a daughter, Cathy “Jack” Fuller; five siblings, Beatrice Barber, Carol Jean Eckerson, Margaret Gibbons, Rodney Glena and Richard Glena; and son in-law, David Smith.

Survivors include her devoted husband of 64 years, Charles “Huck” Fuller; children, Michael (Sandra) Fuller, Cindy Smith, Mark (Letty) Fuller and Connie (Phil) Zimmerman; grandchildren, Michelle, Chad (Melissa), Amy, Brandon, Jesselle, Wyatt, Randall, Mia, Aaron (Stephanie) and Jason; also several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, Jan. 5th, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina. Masks and social distancing will be mandatory. A graveside committal service will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 6th, at 11 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Shelby. A memorial celebration of life will be held at a later and safer time.
