Shirley A. (Efing) Ecker

Shirley A. (Efing) Ecker, 91, Greece/Albion/Kendall of died Jan. 27, 2021 in Elderwood Village at Greece following a short illness.  She was born April 8, 1929 in Rochester to William and Cora (Walker) Efing and had lived in this area most of her life.

Shirley was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Kendall where she served in the Ladies Aid Group.  She was a former Girl Scout Leader for Troops in Monroe and Orleans counties.  Shirley was a very social person who enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her friends.  However, she mostly enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom as her family was of utmost importance to her.

Mrs. Ecker was predeceased by her husband, Gerald and her son, William.  She is survived by her daughters: Kathy (James) Fries of NC, Bonnie McGrane of Rochester, 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.
