Sherri Lyn Boyle

MORRISTOWN – Sherri Lyn Boyle, 61, of Morristown, Tenn., formerly of Medina, passed away July 16, 2022 at her home, with her family by her side,  after a courageous battle with cancer.

Sherri was born on her dad’s birthday, Jan. 22, 1961, a daughter of Lawrence Boyle of Medina and Virginia Boyle Kropf of Medina. She attended Medina High School, where she played saxophone in the Mustang Marching Band. She was a member of the Millville United Methodist Church and lastly worked as manager of the former Nice ‘n Easy on Maple Ridge Road. It was there in 2007 she met the love of her life, Troy Williams of Gasport. They left Medina when his job necessitated a move to Atlanta, and finally Tennessee.

Sherri loved fishing with Troy, crocheting, needlepoint, jigsaw puzzles, hummingbirds and playing games on her I-pad.

Besides Troy Williams, her partner of 16 years, and her parents, she is survived by four daughters, Kristy (Josh) Moroz of York, S.C.; Melissa (Mike) Clark of Waterport; Kendra (Matt) Hinckley of Lyndonville; and McKenzie Boyle of Morristown; eight grandchildren, Hannah (Branden), Paige, Adelyn, Torie, Isaac, Annalee, Elise and Wyatt; three brothers, Randy (Cindy) Boyle of Batavia, Terry Boyle of Medina and Tim Boyle (Penny Stockwell) of Holley; a sister, Robin Boyle of Waterport; and nieces and nephews.

A celebration of her life will take place in Medina at a future date.
