Sharon R. LeVan
Sharon R. LeVan, 75, of Albion, died on April 24, 2020 at The Villages of Orleans in Albion. She was born May 16, 1944, a daughter to Norman and Grace (Schmackpfeffer) Smith.
Sharon married Douglas W. LeVan, and together they raised a family of five children. Sharon worked at Orchard Manor Nursing Home in Medina for many years. She attended Faith Bible Baptist Church in Ridgeway. She enjoyed shopping, Sunday drives, ice cream, birdwatching, more shopping, and another scoop of ice cream.
She is survived by her husband, Doug; her children, Edward A. Weaver, Norman D. (Sharon James) Weaver, Laurie K. Weaver, Renee S. Weaver and Stephanie L. LeVan; five grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; her sister, Carol Bell; brothers, Mark Smith and Ronald Smith; brothers and sisters-in-law, Althea (Charlie) Jurs, Nancy Bellamy, Cathy Kelsey, Kevin LeVan and Joanne Lonnon; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours. A private graveside committal service will be held in West Ridgeway Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Sharon’s name may be made to Faith Bible Baptist Church, 3064 N. Gravel Road, Medina NY 14103.
