Sharon R. Clayton
Sharon R. Clayton, 76, of Medina entered into rest on Tue., Dec. 1, 2020 at Buffalo General Hospital. Born Aug. 16, 1944 in Highmore, SD she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Dorothy Volz Elyea.
She married the late Raymond G. Clayton on Dec. 30, 1962. Sharon worked for Fisher-Price Toys in Medina for many years and Six Flags Darien Lake. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, camping and was an animal lover. Sharon loved to take care of her grandchildren and spending time with family.
Survivors include her children: Danny (Wendy) Clayton, Donald Clayton, Dawn (Ronald) Owen and Mike Clayton all of Medina, NY; six grandchildren: Brian, Adam and Christopher Owen, Matthew Clayton, Kimberly (Travis) Kinne and Kevin Clayton; four great-grandchildren: Jordyn, Caden and Cameron Kinne and Mathias Owen; also several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her husband, Raymond; grandson, Ronald Owen, Jr.; and siblings, Dwayne Elyea, Robert Elyea, Lois Delporto, Sylvia Hoffman and Joyce Owen.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association. Arrangements are in the care of Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina.
