Sharon E. Kaminski
ALBION — Sharon E. Kaminski passed away on November 16, 2024, due to complications from surgery while in the hospital in Davenport, FL. She had been residing in Winter Haven, FL, for the past few years with her partner, Richard J. Brenner Sr. Prior to living in Florida, Sharon resided in Albion, NY.
Sharon was born on October 11, 1942, in Rochester, NY, and was the eldest child of Charles and Stella Edsall of Hilton, NY.
Sharon was predeceased by her parents and her husband of 49 years, John (Tony) Anthony Kaminski Jr. She is survived by her daughter, Kim (Robert) Rowley; her two granddaughters, Brittani (Kyle) DeCoria and Alicia (Jordan) Rowley-Waugh; her great-grandchildren, Travis Dodge, Killian and Hudson DeCoria, and Gray Waugh. Sharon is also survived by her siblings: Charles E. (the late Judith) Edsall Jr., Chester (Kathy) Edsall, and Sheryl (the late Roger) McBroome, as well as several nieces and nephews who were dearly loved.
Sharon operated Kaminski Tax Services for several years with her late husband, Tony, in Albion, and became well known in the community. She enjoyed bowling, doing crafts, and helping others in any way she could. A devoted Christian, Sharon was a member of the Lutheran Church and was always one of the first to volunteer for events and functions. She deeply loved her family and friends, her grandchildren and great-grandchildren being her greatest pride and joy.
Sharon will be laid to rest in Bates Rd Cemetery in Ridgeway, NY, in the spring of 2025. Details will be posted on her Facebook page (maintained by her daughter) or Kim Kaminski Rowley’s page once a date is set. A celebration of life will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sharon’s name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the American Cancer Society.
