Sharon Vanill

Sharon Ann Vanill, of Bloomington Springs, Tenn., passed away in her home on Sun., Aug. 31, 2019, surrounded by her family. Born in Medina in 1947, Sharon was the daughter of the late Robert Kinne and Dorothy Nellie (Cooper) Kinne. A loving daughter, sister, wife, mom, grandma and “GG,” Sharon bettered the lives of those in her community each day at the Country Club Family Restaurant, Hahn Hardware Store and Garlock Office Products, where she worked in customer service. Friends of her children will remember her from the local school lunchroom, where Mrs. Vanill was a familiar face at the end of that rowdy chow line.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Dennis; three children and their spouses, Dennis Vanill Jr. and Beth Anne, Andrea Vanill and Joseph McAvoy, and Cassandra and Keith Taylor; eight grandchildren, Alicia and Jason Hall, Bethany McAvoy, Joseph McAvoy Jr., Daniel Vanill, Julia Vanill, David Vanill, Kayleigh Taylor and Ethan Taylor; five great-grandchildren, Hunter Hall, Noah Hall, Lilyauna Hall, Bentley McAvoy and Brayden McAvoy; five siblings, Beverly Rosenbeck, Ronald and Patricia Kinne, Sue Collings, Keith and Kimberly Kinne, and Scott and Patty Kinne; and her sister-in-law, Deborah Bobby and Tom Freeman. Roxy and Ginger, her loyal four-legged girls, will also miss her dearly.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded by her mother and father-in-law, Patricia and Martin Vanill.

Please join us in celebrating her life Sat., Sept. 21 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Jr. Wilson Sportsman Club, 3875 Bates Road, Medina.
