Shannon Lee Parker

MEDINA – Shannon Lee Parker, 54, of Medina, was called home on Thursday, May 16, 2024.

Shannon was born in Medina on October 9, 1969, the son of the late Margie Parker and Terry Marsh. He worked as a skilled laborer for Laborers’ Union Local #435 for over 20 years and was working with Keeler Construction Co. in Albion. Shannon was also a proud auxiliary member of Lincoln Post #1483, VFW.

Shannon lived a life full of adventures and spontaneity. He loved hunting, bowling, playing softball and horseshoes. He also enjoyed drives, kayaking and hiking adventures with his wife, Evon and dog, Shelby. Shannon was a proud father and grandfather and great friend to many. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him.

Shannon is survived by his wife, Evon (Workman) Parker; his children, Brittany Parker (Anthony) and Justin Parker (Hayley); two granddaughters; and many aunts, uncles and cousins all who loved him very much.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be held on Sat. June 8 from 12-4PM at Lincoln Post #1483, VFW, 216 East Center St., Medina, NY 14103. Burial will take place at a later date in West Ridgeway Cemetery, next to his family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Shannon’s memory to PAWS Animal Shelter, 3371 Gaines Basin Rd., Albion, NY 14411.
