Sarah E. “Sally” Quintern
Sarah E. “Sally” Quintern, 87, passed away on Thu., Nov. 4, 2021 at United Memorial Hospital in Batavia, NY. Sarah (Sally) born on Feb. 1, 1934 in Lyndonville, NY was the daughter of the late Arthur Mills Eberle and Stella Doretta Rynders.
Sarah graduated from Lyndonville Central School in 1951. She attended some college at Erie Community College in Buffalo, NY. She married the late Robert Laverne Quintern and together they raised their two daughters. Sarah worked for Lyndonville Central School as a lunch monitor touching the lives of many children. Sarah was a lifelong member of the Lyndonville United Methodist Church. Sarah took pride in her community by volunteering as a Twig at the Medina Memorial Hospital for many years. Sarah was an avid walker, golfer and loved a good cup of coffee with friends. Sarah is survived by her children: Maria Quintern and Emily Quintern Blanar; grandchildren: Sierra and Sedona Blanar; brother, John Eberle (Betsey); and sister Mary Anderson. Sarah is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, siste,r Catherine Spink and brothers: William and Richard Eberle.
We all cherish our memories of Sarah and ask you to lift a cup of coffee in remembrance of her.
There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be held on a later date to be announced in July of 2022.
