Sandra Michele Kintz
Sandra Michele Kintz, 66, of Waterport, passed away peacefully at her home on Feb. 10, 2020 after a courageous fight with lung cancer. She was born Aug. 22, 1953 in Ontario, Canada to the late Leslie and Mona (Pickering) Kaufman.
Throughout Sandy’s life, she accomplished many things. She was a nurse for 20 years, flipped homes, and owned several businesses, the latest being her marina. She enjoyed spending her time on the beach in Florida, fishing, boating and cooking. She had a great love for animals and was a very kindhearted person.
She was predeceased by her parents, Mona and Leslie Kaufman; and her husband, Steven P. Kintz.
Sandy is survived by her partner in life for over 20 years, John Jackowiec; her dogs; her daughter, Stephanie (Steve) Zalyski; her grandchildren, Kourtnee and Justin; four great-grandchildren; and her sister, Cathy Lewis.
The family will receive friends on Sun., Feb. 16 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 21 West Ave., Albion NY 14411, where her Celebration of Life service will be held at 3 p.m.
