S. Isabelle Schultz (Bauer) (King)

S. Isabelle Schultz (Bauer) (King), 100, of Middleport died Sept. 30, 2021 while at the Supportive Care of Orleans Martin Linsin Hospice Residence in Albion.  She was born April 16, 1921 in the Town of Hartland to James and Annie (Annable) Noble and was a life-long resident of this area.  

Isabelle was a 70-year member of the Middleport United Methodist Church where she chaired the Harvest Dinner for over 30 years.  She was an expert knitter, having taught knitting at the Niagara County Cooperative Extension for many years.  She shared that talent with the community by making countless premie caps, lap robes, hats and mittens for hospitals and charities over the years.  Isabelle was also a member of the Middleport and Johnson Creek Senior Citizen groups, as well as being a life member and volunteer driver for Tri Town Ambulance.  

Mrs. Schultz was predeceased by husbands: Emory Bauer, Robert King, Donald Schultz; daughter, Diane (Bauer) Grove; brothers: Walter, Donald and Frank Noble; and sisters: Lulla Timblin and Daryl Wobbes.  

She is survived by her children: Mary Ann Bauer, William (Mary Jane) Bauer, Susan Webber, Sharon Kusmierczak, Steven (Susan) King; sister, Betty Lockie; son-in-law, Ted Grove; 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.  

The family will receive friends at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home, 38 State St., Middleport, Tue., Oct. 5 from 1-3 p.m. where her funeral service will be held following visitation at 3 p.m.  Private interment will be in Hartland Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: The Willows, 459 E.
