Ruth MagerRuth A. Mager, 92, of Albion and Rochester, died Dec. 7, 2018 at Unity Living Center in Rochester. She was born Dec. 16, 1925 in Albion, a daughter of the late Howard and Daisy (Forsaith) Tucker, and she lived in this area all of her life.

Ruth worked at Eastman Kodak, retiring after 22 years. She loved crossword and word search puzzles and going to the Senior Center to visit her friends.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Edmund Mager; her daughter-in-law, Sharon Mager; and five siblings, Howard, Dorothy, Gerald, Betty and Eugene.

She is survived by her daughter, Gertrude Shaw of Rochester; son, Edward Mager of Albion; grandsons, Edward (Peggy) Mager of Albion, Brian Shaw of Hamlin, and Michael (Michele) Shaw of Lackawanna; great-grandchildren, Shelby Mager, Taylor Mager, Destiny Shaw, Ashley Shaw, Ryan Scherrer, Kaitlyn Shaw, Brittnie Shaw, Alexandra Nostrant and Brent Nostrant; great-great-grandchildren, Raegan Shaw and Collin Nostrant; as well as many friends, nieces and nephews.

There are no calling hours. Her graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date in Mt. Albion Cemetery.
