Roxanne LaMartina-Salvatore

HOLLEY – Roxanne LaMartina-Salvatore, 71, passed away January 21, 2022 at Medina Memorial Hospital after fighting a long illness. She was surrounded by her loving family. Roxanne was born January 31, 1950 in Brockport, a daughter of the late Lewis and Rose (Tiberio) Simboli and had lived in this area all of her life.

She worked from home as a beautician for many years and owned and operated Roxy’s Corner Café in Albion. Roxanne was very family oriented and loved spending time with her family, cooking for Sunday sauce dinners and watching the Buffalo Bills. She enjoyed baking as well, especially Christmas cookies, pizzelles and breads. She worked for Lifetime Assistance as a supervisor/caretaker in Brockport and Rochester. Roxanne was a very caring person, always putting others first.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Anthony; sister, Roslee (Rocco) Sidari, Jr.; and brother-in-law, Thomas Vickery.

She is survived by her husband Jerry Salvatore, Sr.; her sons, Joseph LaMartina and Jeffery (Danielle) LaMartina; step-sons, Michael Salvatore and Jerry (Jean Craddock) Salvatore; grandchildren, Brayden, Giovanni, Marissa and Makayla; sister, Carolyn Vickery; brother, Nicholas (Virginia) Long and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 W. Ave. Albion on Tuesday, Jan. 25, from 4 to 8 p.m. where her funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
