Rose M. Morse
MIDDLEPORT – Rose M. Morse, 85, passed away on Nov. 12, 2022. She was born in the Town of Royalton on May 2, 1937, a daughter of the late Leo and Marie (Peters) Shepard.
Rose was a member of the Middleport United Methodist Church and a former member of Gasport Eastern Star #157. Rose enjoyed bowling, knitting, golf, gardening and cats. Rose’s greatest joy was spending time with family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Ralph; sons, Daniel (Jeannie), Steven (Annmarie) and Thomas (Barbara); 8 grandchildren & 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Leo (Patricia) Shepard; sister, Jean (Donald) Sipple; and several nieces & nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Bates, Wallace & Heath Funeral Home 38 State St. Middleport on Thursday, Nov. 17, from 4 to 7 p.m. Rose’s funeral service will be held at the Middleport United Methodist Church, 9 Park Ave., on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Royalton Mt. Ridge Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church.
