Rose DudnellyRose M. Dudnelly, 95, of Hartland and formerly of Buffalo, passed away at her home on April 18, 2020. She was born May 8, 1924 in Buffalo to the late Felice and Theresa (Merola) Viggiano.

Rose loved animals of all shapes and sizes, especially cats, and she enjoyed gardening. Mrs. Dudnelly was very proud that she worked as a riveter for Bell Aircraft during World War II. She enjoyed being very active during her youth, and she always had a fiery personality tempered with kindness and humor.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Cecil James Dudnelly, in 2008; siblings, Jenny Pegnia, Mary Gargiulio, Sue Parisi, Joseph Viggiano and Ann Teti.

Rose is survived by her children, Arlene Dudnelly, James (Glenda) Dudnelly, Joan (Michael) Kozlowski and Juliette Merrolla; grandchildren, Carin (Scott) Tauriello, Kevin (Jillian) Kozlowski, Kyle Kozlowski, Cristin Kozlowski and James Dudnelly Jr.; great-grandchildren, Orrin Tauriello, Adelaide Tauriello, Camille Tauriello and Elodie Kozlowski; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. Rose will be laid to rest with her husband, Cecil, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville, Pa.
