Rose M. Bridwell

Rose met her husband, Jack, while he was with his U.S. Army unit, working the orchards of Orleans County before being shipped to Europe during World War II. He preceded her in death on Feb. 1, 2000.
She was involved with Ridgeview Homes Mobile Home Park in Lockport, which she co-owned for 50 years. Rose enjoyed landscaping and gardening, and she was a founding member of the Kenan Center Herb Club.
Rose’s family includes her children, Jack (Johndolyn), Richard, Rosemary, Susan (Dave Bailey) Schiferle, and the late William; grandchildren, Richard and the late Robin; eight siblings; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends may call Fri., Jan. 4 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Prudden & Kandt Funeral Home, 242 Genesee St., Lockport. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Sat., Jan. 5 at 10 a.m. at St. Brendan On The Lake RC Church, 3455 Ewings Road, Newfane. Interment will be in Cold Springs Cemetery.
