Rose E. Edkin
Rose E. Edkin, 85, of Kent, died April 23, 2019 in Unity Hospital following a short illness. She was born Jan. 8, 1934 in Pennsylvania and lived in this area most of her life.
Rose was a former employee of GE and Black & Decker. She enjoyed gardening and shopping, but her greatest passion was taking care of her grandchildren.
Mrs. Edkin was predeceased by her husband, David R. Edkin; son, Donnie; daughter, Kath; and siblings, Billy, Bobby, Jerry and Catherine.
She is survived by her son, David W. Edkin of Rochester; her ex-daughter-in-law, Judy Edkin; brothers, Junior and Eddie Shrimp; sister, Shirley Richland; grandchildren, Sherry, Wanda, Kathy Ann, and Dorothy; as well as several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
