Ronald R. Porter
GASPORT – Ronald R. Porter, 83, passed away July 6, 2019. He was born March 29, 1936 in Hartland, a son of the late Raymond & Minerva (Baldwin) Porter.
Ronald served his country in the US Marines from 1956-1959, retired from Harrison Radiator after 42 years of service and also loved horses.
He was predeceased by his brother, Robert (Judith) Porter.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Nella; children, Kim (Kurt) Zunner, Mary Jo (Greg) Stewart and Ronald (Desiree) Porter Jr.; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Gerald (Marge) Porter; and several nieces and nephews.
Ron’s graveside service will be held at Hartland Central Cemetery, 8514 Ridge Rd. Gasport, on Wednesday, July 10, at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Niagara Hospice, 4675 Sunset Dr., Lockport, NY 14094. Ron’s arrangements have been entrusted to Sherrie-Bream Funeral Home in Gasport.
