Ronald J. Wright Sr.

Ronald J. Wright Sr., 78, of Medina, entered into rest on Sat., Jan. 5, 2019.

Born on Oct. 31, 1940 in Bradford, Pa., he was the son of the late Lawrence and Sylvia (McNeil) Wright.

Ronald moved to the Medina area in 1961. He married the former Carol Lane in 1962. He worked at various jobs, including at R.J. Reynolds of Lockport, from which he retired. Ronald enjoyed spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren.

Ronald is survived by his wife of 56 years, Carol Wright; five children, Ronald (Sharon) Wright Jr. of Medina, Starla Peck of Lockport, Richard Wright of Lockport, Dennis (Michelle) Wright of Medina, and Crystal Wright of Medina; 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; four siblings, Alma Moore of Arizona, Leoda Moore of Florida, Therisa Gilbert of Lockport, and Thelma Dolan of Maryland; and many nieces and nephews.

Ronald is preceded in death by five siblings, Sylvia Wright, Wanda Vosburg, Alberta Potter, Lawrence Wright and John Wright.

Relatives and friends may call on Wed., Jan. 9 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Bogan & Tuttle Funeral Home, 226 Pearl St., Medina NY 14103, where a funeral service will be held on Thu., Jan. 10 at 11 a.m.
