Ronald E. Hering Sr.
Ronald E. “Doug” Hering Sr., of Kendall, lost his fight on July 31, 2020. He was born in Milton, Pa. on May 5, 1939 to Donald and Myrtle Hering.
Ronald was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, Donald Jr. and Harry; and a sister, Sandra.
He is survived by his wife, Leona; daughter, Robin; son, Ronald Jr. (Tricia] Hering; two brothers, Larry (Ellen) and Richard (Barb) Hering; four grandchildren, Nick, Dylan, Devin and Taylor; several nieces and nephews; and three special friends, Ezra Ellis, John Reviere and Ron Bissell.
Ronald was a 35-year member of Fraternal Order of Eagles. Ron worked many years as a mechanic at Duffy Mott, and he worked with his dad at Nesbitt farms.
