Robin Leigh Cummons
Robin Leigh Cummons, 56, of Newfane, died unexpectedly July 7, 2020 while visiting with her mother in Columbia, Mo. She was born June 4, 1964 in Lockport to John and Janet (Shuman) Ward and lived in this area for most of her life.
Robin was a member of Newfane United Methodist Church, and she was an avid journalist who aspired someday to write a book. Robin loved motorcycles, planting flowers, and horseback riding, and she had a great love for all animals, especially her dogs. Her greatest joy was her friends and her family, especially her sons and her grandson.
She is survived by her sons, Colt Ballew of Louisiana and Logan (Rachel) Ballew of Newfane; her mother, Janet Ward of Missouri; brother, John Ward of Louisiana; beloved grandson, Logan “L.J.” Ballew Jr.; as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Fri., July 17 from 10 to 11 a.m at Kenneth H. Sherrie Funeral Home, 6139 East Ave., Newfane, where her funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Robin’s funeral service may be live-streamed by clicking here. Interment will be in Hartland Cemetery.
