Robert M. Arnett
Robert M. “Bob” Arnett, 71, of Barre, died unexpectedly on Dec. 28, 2018. He was born March 1, 1947 in Medina, a son of the late Charles and Leila (Watson) Arnett, and he lived in this area all of his life.
Bob loved to fish, camp, play cards, sit on his porch, and spend time with family and special friends. He was a member of Godfrey’s Pond in Batavia, and he worked at GM in Rochester, retiring in 1999.
In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his son, Brian Arnett, in 2017; brothers, Charles Arnett Jr., Olin Arnett, Walter Arnett and William Arnett; and his sister, Dorothy Kennedy.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carollee; his son, Shawn (Cindy) Arnett of Albion; grandsons, Justin and Aaron Arnett; many wonderful nieces, nephews and cousins; and his loving cats that were always by his side during the hard times in his life, Milo, Maggie, Mikey, Chrissy, Eleanor, Buddy, Autumn and Summer.
There will be no calling hours. A private memorial service and burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
