Robert G. Eddy

Robert G. Eddy, 81, of Albion, died unexpectedly on Oct. 13, 2019 at his residence. He was born Feb. 22, 1938 in Albion and was a lifelong resident of this area.

Robert was an avid reader who especially liked to use his Kindle. He was known for being a handyman who loved to go out to his shop and do woodworking projects. His greatest love, however, was to spend time playing with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mr. Eddy was predeceased by a sister, Barbara.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Carol; his children, Daniel Eddy of New Jersey and Cynthia (Gary) Delaura of Albion; siblings, Donald, Billy, Gail, Beverly and Mary; grandchildren, Danielle, Rachel, Rebecca, Cheryl and Caroline; great-grandchildren, A.J., Adrien, Braeydon, Cassandra and Riley; as well as several nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to attend Robert’s memorial service on Fri., Oct. 18 at 2 p.m. at Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 21 West Ave., Albion. Private interment will take place at the convenience of the family.
