Rita Langdon Galbreath

Rita Langdon Galbreath, passed away peacefully Tuesday May 9, 2023 in her home, into the loving arms of her husband.She was born Rita Langdon on July 12, 1930 to Orra and Dorothy (Woods) Langdon in Massena, NY and had lived in this area for over 56 years.
Rita was a member of Holy Family Parish-St. Joseph’s Church and the Catholic Daughters, and a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.She was well loved by all of her dedicated caregivers who brought her joy daily, allowing her to remain home until she was ready to join her beloved husband Robert “Bob”, her brother Orra, her daughter Suzann, her son Eric, and her grandson Alexander…who all passed away before her and were waiting for her with open arms.
She is survived by her brother: Gregory (Joann) Langdon, her sister-in-law: Sharon Langdon, her daughters: Shawn Reposh, Kay (David) Arnold, her son: Michael Galbreath, her grandchildren: Michaela, Evin (Kira), Jessica, Ashley, Brandon (Jocelyn), Tony (Kaitlyn) and Dawson.Her Great Grandchildren: Hannah, Ryleigh, Olivia, Jayden, Clay, Jesse, Mialyn, Leiyam, Emylia, Devin, Ethan, Robert, Kali and Leyleta.
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home, 21 West Avenue-Albion, FRIDAY MAY 19th from 5-7 where her Memorial Service will follow at 7pm.Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family in St. Joseph’s Cemetery at a later date.
