Richard T. Peruzzini
CARLTON – Richard T. Peruzzini age 89, passed away October 21, 2022 at Strong Memorial Hospital with his family by his side. He was born June 10, 1933 in Albion, a son of the late Delmazio “Tom” and Mary Peruzzini and had lived in this area most of his life.
Richard’s greatest joys were mowing his 8 acres of lawn, planting flowers and running his dairy farm he had for many, many years. After farming he went to work at Ontario Foods and then at Brunner’s in Medina where he retired. Richard was also a life-long Buffalo Bills fan.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife Alice; children Gary, Barbara, Larry, Bob; sister Jane Peruzzini; brother Harold Peruzzini.
Richard is survived by his children Margaret (Charles) Swan, Janet (Don) McClary, David Peruzzini, Kim (Douglas) Mergler; companion of many years Ruth Wells; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren’ sisters Judy (Jim), Sandy, Sue as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. Friday October 28th 4:00pm-7:00pm. His Memorial Service will be held Saturday October 29th at 2:00pm at East Shelby Community Bible Church, 5278 E. Shelby Rd., Medina NY 14103.
