Richard “Dick” A. Watson

After graduation from Lyndonville High School, he joined the Army and loved his stint in Germany. Upon returning from the military Dick married the former Betty J. Blackman from Albion. Together they raised two sons, Michael and Steven.
Dick used to love stock car racing at Ransomville when he was younger and made many friends there. He was employed by Harrison Radiator in Lockport for 42 years and often said he would live to collect his pension for as many years.
After retirement Dick and Betty eventually moved to Lake Wales in Florida. They enjoyed many years of traveling in their RV and managed to travel through every state except Hawaii, of course.
He was predeceased by his wife, Betty J. Watson; brothers, Wayne Watson from Hesperia, California and Donald Watson from Medina, NY.
Dick is survived by sons, Michael (Ellen) Watson and Steven (Linda) Watson; grandchildren, Keith Watson, Alexandra Fisher, Kyle Watson, Arron Burton, Amber Burton, Amanda Murrieta and Angela Smith; 18 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews; sisters, Ruth Canham Hedges and Linda Watson; sisters-in-law, Carole Watson of Medina and Carol Watson of California.
A gravesite ceremony will be held at Millville Cemetery in Medina at a later date at the convenience of the family.
