Richard A. Grandy, 62, of Albion, died unexpectedly at his home on June 9, 2019. He was born July 21, 1956 in Rochester, a son of the late Frank and Gertrude Grandy, and he lived in this area most of his life.

Richard collected coins, eagles and dolphins. He loved to fish, camp, and watch the Miami Dolphins. He was considered a jack of all trades because he did most of his own work around his home.

He was predeceased by his brothers, Roger and Lee; and his brother-in-law, Bill Wadam.

He is survived by his daughter, Alexis (Ethan Jutrowski) Grandy of Holley; stepchildren, Gary (Jessica) Williams of Batavia, Tabatha Clark of Buffalo, Gary (Ashley) Jackson of Batavia, Peggy (Taimoor) Zahir of New Jersey, Katty Jackson of Batavia, Lyle Grandy of Batavia, and Mary (Curtis) Johnson of Georgia; brothers, Bill (Kim) Tuttle of Holley and Dave (Tina) Grandy Sr. of Illinois; sister, Mary Wadam of Batavia; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 21 West Ave., Albion, on Thu., June 13 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
