Rebecca L. Ritchey

ALBION – Rebecca L. Ritchey, 71, died Dec. 22, 2020 in her home following a long illness.  She was born Aug. 15, 1949 in Gowanda, NY to Robert and Marlee (Maine) Clark and had lived in this area over 40 years.

Rebecca enjoyed watching Hallmark Channel movies, soap operas, doing puzzles of all types, and loved to play BINGO.  Her greatest love however, was her family…particularly her children and grandchildren.  Her family was her life and she supported it 100% and loved all of them hard…whether they wanted her to or not.

Mrs. Ritchey was predeceased by her husband, Richard; her brother, Robert Clark, and sisters: Cheryl Matusak and Mary Clark.  She is survived by her children: Beth (Jody) Burns of Albion, Thomas (Jennifer) Ritchey of Albion, Lisa (Tony) Maldonado of Ala., Richard (Meke) Ritchey of NC; her brother, Fred (Patty) Clark; her sisters: Dawn Baker, Marlee Evans, Julie Shuman, Danny-Gene (Gary) Boughton; as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

There will be no calling hours.  Rebecca’s service and interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Orleans County Office for the Aging-Meals on Wheels Program, 14016 Rt. 31, Albion, NY, 14411.
