Raymond “Ray” A. Stiver

Raymond “Ray” A. Stiver, 83, of Medina, NY, passed away at the Villages of Orleans on September 17, 2024. He was born on July 30, 1941, in Punxsutawney, PA, the son of the late Bruce W. and Arveda (Smith) Stiver.On October 5, 1968, he married the former Betty Wolfgang and together raised three children. Ray was employed at FMC in Middleport for over 40 years. Ray enjoyed listening to country music and watching classic comedies and baseball, and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Betty; his children, Debra (Daniel) Pangallo of Mineral Springs, PA, Penny Hildebrant, and Bruce Stiver, both of Medina, NY; six grandchildren, Tori (Mike) Taddonio, Laci Stiver, Amanda (Johnny) Peterman, Madeline Lancerio, Stephanie Jackson, and Danny (Tammy) Jackson and several great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two siblings, Marilyn Hilliard of Medina, NY, and Louis (Rudy) Stiver of Pope, PA, and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Ray is predeceased by a brother, Ronald Stiver, and two grandchildren, Jessie Pangallo and Adam Hildebrant.
