Ralph V. Englert

Ralph Englert’s battle with cancer ended in a draw on Feb. 21, 2026. He was 63.
A dedicated teacher in the Albion Central School District for 33 years, Ralph attended Bishop Kearney High School and St. John Fisher College. He was an avid collector of comics, a lover of horror movies, a tenacious fisherman, and a lifelong fan of the Boston Bruins.
Predeceased by his brother-in-law, Dick Huber; nephew, Jon Huber; and beloved Siberian Huskies, Nikita and Zdena.
Survived by sisters, Nancy Huber, Mary (Ernie) Fuhrer, Laurie (Tom) Petronio, and Judy (Ron) Viccaro; brother, Louis (Pati Vito) Englert; nieces and nephews, Chris (Audra) Huber, Matt Sherman, Beth (Rick Premo) Sherman, Bryan (Jessica) Viccaro, Kyle (Brittany) Viccaro, Lou Englert, and Erica (Dan Kieliszek) Englert; several great nieces and nephews, especially Louis and Evelyn Englert; and longtime friends, Steve White and Dan Petronio.
A service will be held on Sat., March 7 at 11:30 at St. John the Evangelist Greece, 2400 W. Ridge Rd., followed by a party in Ralph’s honor at Barnard Banquet Hall, 360 Maiden La.
