Peter M. Theodorakos

BROOMFIELD, CO – Peter M. Theodorakos, age 68, passed away after a brief illness on September 13, 2024. He was born May 29, 1956 in Albion, NY to the late Alex and Harriet (Earnst) Theodorakos.

Peter proudly served in the Marine Corps as a recon marine, attaining the rank of Corporal E4. He graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Geology. Peter spent his career as a Geologist for the US Dept. of Interior.

Peter is survived by his wife, Cathleen “Kate” (Swiercznski) Theodorakos; daughters, Emily and Grace; siblings, James (Peggy) Theodorakos, Paul (Joan) Theodorakos and Michael (Brenda) Theodorakos; brothers and sisters-in-law, Maureen (George) Cordero, Tod (Darla) Swiercznski, Eileen (Jim) Aina, Colleen (Rick) Brade, Christeen Lusk and Patrick (Mattea) Swiercznski; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Peter’s family will receive friends at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Home 21 West Ave. Albion, NY 14411 on Friday, November 8, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. His graveside service and military honors to follow at Mt.
