Peggy CollinsPeggy B. Collins, 90, a resident of The Villages of Orleans in Albion, died on July 2, 2020. Peggy was born on May 26, 1930 in Norristown, Pa., a daughter to Louis F. and Gladys A. Biehl.

She is survived by her daughter, Susan Collins Thaine; her favorite (and only) son-in-law, Michael J. Thaine; her beloved grandchildren, Abigail (Connor Hess) and Kyle Thaine (Shannon Broda); brother, Clark (Nancy) Biehl; special family members, Chuck and Peggy Biehl (Joshua and Jared); and nieces and nephews.

Peggy is predeceased by her parents; her husband, Robert J. Collins; brothers, L. Charles Biehl and Paul Biehl; sisters-in-law, Francis M. Biehl and T. Christine Biehl; and a nephew, James Biehl.

Peggy, a devoted Buffalo Bills fan, was a superior organizer and a detail-oriented person who always knew where every item was located in her home, a skill she did not pass on to her daughter. Peggy was a Literacy Volunteer, a youth group leader, and a Sunday school teacher.

She was especially devoted to assisting her husband (Volunteer Chaplain) at the Orleans County Nursing Home/The Villages of Orleans for almost 30 years. Peggy always sent cards to the nursing home residents for birthdays and holidays because she did not want anyone to feel forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service in Mt. Albion Cemetery on Tue., July 7 beginning at 2 p.m., which will be led by the Rev. Susan Boring. With the current restrictions regarding public gatherings due to COVID-19, you must wear a mask/face covering and observe all social distancing guidelines at the cemetery.
