Paula Louise Champlin “Weasie”

SUMMERFIELD – Paula Louise Champlin “Weasie”, 66 of Summerfield, Florida passed away at home on Saturday, March 4, 2023 after a long battle with cancer.

Born August 6, 1956 in Medina, NY and was a graduate of Medina High School, Class of 1974. She was employed in the office of Super Duper/Jubilee grocery store for many years. In 2002, she relocated to Lady Lake, Florida and in 2017 she purchased a home in Summerfield, Florida. She worked for Florida Title for many years and received the top award for Employee of the Year in 2020.

Paula was predeceased by her mother, Teresa Champlin. Paula will be sadly missed by her loving partner Wesley Hancock, her daughter, April Champlin and Rolondo McKinney, her father, Richard L, Champlin, brother John and Barb Champlin, sisters JoAnne and Jeff Benthin, and Carol Ann Hammons and Karl Kerr, her nieces, Brittany and Jaime Vona, Miranda Benthin and Jeff Thomas, Chelsea and Ramón Andino with great nephew Adrian, Jordan and Jocelyn Hammons, and nephew Corey John Champlin and Krystal VeRost.

Paula will be remembered for her love of sunflowers, her cats, family gatherings and in starting the Champlin family Buffalo BIlls game traditions. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your local animal shelter/SPCA or to a Cancer Foundation of your choice. A celebration of life to be held at a later date.
