Patsy ‘Pat’ C. Aina

American flagPIKE – Patsy “Pat” C. Aina, 73, of 7988 Dowd Rd. in Fillmore died Sunday, January 10, 2021 at his home. He was born on January 28, 1947 in Alfred, a son of the late James and G. June Dingler Aina.

On November 9, 1974 in Olean he married Linnea Witman, who survives.

Pat was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving from 1967 to 1969 and a former railroad foreman for R&S Depot in Warsaw. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved spending time with his family.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Krysta (Bryan) Smith of Florida; four grandchildren, Dylan Smith, Chase Aina, Quynn Smith and Soryn Smith; two brothers, Joseph (Shirley) Aina and James (Eileen) Aina, both of Albion; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a son, Keith L. Aina on May 26, 2014 and a sister, Katherine Aina.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date.

Cremation with care is under the direction of the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N. Genesee Street, Fillmore.

Memorials if desired may be made to a Conservation Club of the donor’s choice.
