Patricia Long

Pat’s home was her sanctuary filled with laughter, love and the scent of food cooking. Her kitchen was the heart of the home. Whether it was her famous ham loaf and mustard sauce or cookies and pies. She loved to bake for family and friends.
Pat found joy in feeding others, always welcoming you in for a bite to eat whatever she had cooking. Her legacy will live on in the recipes she passed down. She enjoyed gardening and took pride in her flowers, planting each and every spring. She was also known to frequent Batavia Downs. It was there she could unwind playing the slots and visit with friends.
Pat was a loving grandmother who held a special place in the hearts of her grandchildren. She was their biggest cheerleader, never missed a hockey game or dance recital. She supported them all in whatever activity they took part in and loved them dearly. Her spirit will live on in every family gathering.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her son, Jeffrey Nellis; sister, Dianne Jewell; and brother-in-law, Dave Long.
