Patricia Dupre

Patricia L. (Leppla) Dupre, of Holley, passed away on June 3, 2019.

She is survived by her children, Lisa (Frank) Saeva and Debra Ford; and her grandchildren, Michelle Gleason, David Saeva, Lauren (Brendan) Harriff, Andrea Saeva and Kyle Ford.

Born Dec. 5, 1944 in Rochester, Pat spent most of her adult life living in Holley while working in the Rochester area. After spending many years working in the business world, she was in her late 50s when she decided to make a career change. After noting that her daughters, both registered nurses, loved their profession, she pursued the opportunities available to her in the health care field by becoming a certified nursing assistant and began working in long term care. As a passionate advocate for elders, she then pursued and achieved another goal when she became a licensed practical nurse at the age of 62. She then worked in long term care and private duty cases until her retirement.

Pat was an avid and skilled markswoman who excelled in the area of shooting sports, specifically skeet. She spent many years as a member of the Four Point Rod and Gun Club and the Conesus Sportsman’s Club. She traveled across New York State and into other states to participate in shooting meets, including the World Championships. Pat had a deep love of animals and supported animal rescue efforts. She loved arts and crafts and exercised her talents while participating in craft shows around the area, and she also donated items for the fundraising efforts of others.

In addition to her family, Pat is survived by her longtime special friends, Charlene and Art Sielaff of Holley, and Dana and Dawn Driscoll of Honeoye Falls.

The family will receive friends at Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 16650 Route 31, Holley, on Fri., June 7 from 4 to 7 p.m. Interment will be private.
