Norma Jean (Riemer) Webster

MEDINA – Norma Jean Webster, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 23, 2023 (Thanksgiving Day) at the age of 89.

Norma was predeceased by her beloved son, Alex, and is now reunited with him in heaven. She is survived by her children, Barbara and Jeff (Sheela), grandchildren, Jessica (Seth) Richard, Jeff (Jasleen) and great grandchildren, Siena, Elle and Rose.

Norma Jean embraced her proud German heritage. Though not born in Germany, she carried the traditions, values and warmth of her German ancestry throughout her life. During every season, especially holidays, she found joy infusing traditional customs into family celebrations.

A dedicated and resilient mother, she raised three successful children with unwavering devotion, strength and love. Norma cherished her grandchildren, great grandchildren and beamed with pride. Beyond her role as a caring mother and grandmother, Norma was a conscientious and loyal employee at the Medina Memorial Hospital in Medina, NY for many years. She leaves behind a legacy of tenacity, courage and love.

The family will hold a private ceremony in the spring to honor and celebrate the life and legacy of Norma Jean Webster. The family extends their appreciation and gratitude to the staff of the Friendly Home of Rochester, NY.
