Norma Crawford

Norma J. Crawford, 80, of Clarendon, passed away Aug. 1, 2019 at Unity Hospital. She was born June 10, 1939 in Bergen, a daughter of the late Clarence and Irene (Whitaker) FitzSimmons.

Norma was a 1957 graduate of Holley High School and a former employee of Monroe Podiatry, Photos by Bruce and Star Markets. She loved bingo, Yahtzee, hummingbirds and cats. Most of all, Norma loved spending time with her family, and she will be remembered for her famous apple pie.

She is predeceased by her brother, Donald FitzSimmons.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, William “Bill”; children, Norman (Lynette) Crawford, Cheryl (Robert) Beisang and Deborah (John) Piedmonte; grandchildren, Christopher, Amanda, Jacob, Jeremy, Kayla and Rebecca; great-grandchildren, Peyton, Landon, Lydia, Trent, McKenzie and Jackson; brother, Richard FitzSimmons; sister, Eleanor (Rudi) Rinas; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 16650 Route 31, Holley, on Sat., Aug. 10 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by her memorial service at the funeral home at 1 p.m.
