Norene S. Preston-Dragon
Norene S. Preston-Dragon, 61, of Albion, died Sept. 28, 2019 in Highland Hospital following a long, courageous battle with cancer. She was born Oct. 27, 1957 in Albion, a daughter of Ronald and Rose (Restivo) Preston, and was a lifelong resident of this area.
Norene enjoyed camping, baking, and going to craft shows, and she loved the outdoors – especially the change of seasons from summer to fall. She was mostly devoted to her family, with her son and granddaughter being the focus of her life.
Norene was predeceased by her brother, David Preston; and sisters, Debbie Kinsey and Diane Kilborn.
She is survived by her son, Daniel Dragon of Albion; granddaughter, Alisha Dragon; brother, Gary (Lynette) Preston of Albion; close friends, James and Lois Dragon; as well as several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 21 West Ave., Albion, on Fri., Oct. 4 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. only. Private service and interment in Mt. Albion Cemetery will held at the convenience of the family.
