Neal Alan Robishaw, 84, of Holley, passed away March 13, 2019 at the Martin Linsin Hospice Residence. He was born May 26, 1934 in Albion, a son of the late Howard and Evelyn (Robinson) Robishaw.

Neal was a good man. His life was filled with carpentry skills, helping others with his ability to fix anything. He loved to create things, including building his own home and rebuilding a cottage into a home. Neal retired from Eastman Kodak Company. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War and was a member of the Jewell Buckman Post #529 American Legion, and the Murray-Holley Historical Society. Neal was always referred to as kind and gentle, but most of all as a loving family man.

Neal was predeceased by his sister, Shirley Fleth Degan.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Elizabeth (Betty) Robishaw; children, Sharon (Brad) Kuehne of Islip Terrace, N.Y. and David (Ruth) Robishaw of Clarendon; five grandchildren, Jillian (Eric) Kuehne, Megan (Dan) Kuehne, Kevin Kuehne, Alex Robishaw and Seth Robishaw; brother, Charles (Carol) Robishaw; special friends, Ralph Gleason and Jack Kohmann; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive friends at Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc., 16650 Route 31, Holley, on Fri., March 22 from 4 to 7 p.m. Neal’s funeral service will be held on Sat., March 23 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
