Nancy M. (Krase) Cole

Nancy M. (Krase) Cole, 74, of Rochester passed away unexpectedly on Dec. 27, 2020 due to a non-COVID related illness. She was born June 18, 1946 in Rochester to the late Herbert and Sophie (Lohler) Krase.

Nancy was known to keep a tape measure close by and measure everything and tell you exactly where it needed to be. She enjoyed spending time in the New England states and especially Martha’s Vineyard in Cape Cod. She enjoyed a cold Coors Light and relaxing with her cat, Cali. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were everything to her and she loved spending time with them.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Richard F. Cole.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Jodi (Paul) Zeppetella; step-son, Mark (late Liz) Cole; grandchildren, Casey (Jessica) Busenbark, Brian (Tara) Russo, Kassidy (Kyle) Hastings, Marina Zeppetella; great-grandchildren: Jayden Russo, Mila Busenbark, Gabriella Russo, Elliana Russo, X’ayion, Avi; and best friend, Ann Lutz.

There are no prior calling hours. Nancy’s memorial service will be held at the Christopher Mitchell Funeral Homes, Inc. 21 West Ave., Albion, NY 14411 on Mon., Jan. 4, 2021 at 4 p.m. To view a live stream of Nancy’s service please click here.

Memorial contributions in Nancy’s name may be made to the Friends of the Orleans County Animal Shelter, 4125 Oak Orchard Rd., Albion, NY 14411.
