Michelle HortonMichelle Lorraine Horton (Staub), 54, of Albion, went to be with the Lord on March 5, 2020.

Michelle (“Mimi,” “Shell”) was born and raised in Kent and was a 1983 graduate of Albion High School. She was a very strong and courageous woman, having survived a heart attack and breast cancer. Michelle enjoyed coloring, gardening, cooking, and watching the Food Network. The thing she loved the most was spending time with her family, especially her two grandsons.

She was predeceased by her mother-in-law, Laura Romashko.

She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Paul; children, Derek and Lindsay; two beautiful grandsons, Drayden and Adrian; parents, Roberta Evans and William (Glendia) Staub Sr.; siblings, William (Donna) Staub Jr., Rhonda M. Brown, Kimberly (Jason) Bennett, Lee K. Boring, Andrew (Lindsey) Staub and Patricia (Michael) Friedl; father-in-law, David (Shirley) Horton; brother-in-law, Walter (Jody) Romashko; as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and lifelong friends.

Per Michelle’s wishes, there will be no funeral or services. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date at the family’s convenience.

The family appreciates all the love and support that was given during this difficult time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
