Michael Raymond Potrubacz

1964–2020

Michael Raymond Potrubacz passed away on Feb. 10, 2020 due to complications from a stroke.

Michael was born in Medina on March 12, 1964. He graduated in 1982 from Medina High School, where he played lacrosse and was a member of the Medina Mustangs 1981 Niagara-Orleans championship football team. Michael graduated from the College at Brockport, State University of New York, with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice in 1986 and a Master of Public Administration in 1988. He served for 23 years in the Fulton County Sheriff’s Department, retiring as a lieutenant.

He is predeceased by his father, the late Raymond Potrubacz.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Jane (Roa) Potrubacz; mother, Reta Potrubacz; sister, Judy; brother, David; many cousins, including Joe Kujawa and Mark Potrubacz; niece, Jessica Cherniss; and nephews, Jay Gonzalez and Jacob Gonzalez.
