Michael K. Schuner

Mr. Michael K. Schuner, of Medina, died unexpectedly at his home on Dec. 9, 2018.

Mike was born in Medina on April 19, 1950, a son of the late Karl H. and Doris M. (Wolter) Schuner. A graduate of L.A. Weber High School, class of 1968, and SUNY College of Technology at Alfred, he was employed by Fisher-Price until the Medina branch closing in 1997. Since 1997, he worked for Delphi Harrison Thermal Systems/GM Automotive Components.

Mike was a lifelong resident of the area and a proud member of the National Rifle Association, Jr. Wilson Sportsman’s Club, Medina Conservation Club and Trinity Lutheran Church. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, traveling with friends, the outdoors and hunting.

He is survived by his children, Andrew (Ina) Schuner, Adam Schuner, April (Scott) Schultz, Alana (John) Palone and Michael K. Schuner II; eight grandchildren, Evaline, Celie, Carley, Evie, Scott, Jackson, Lucas and Peyton; his sister, Brenda (Tom) Best; his brother, David (Mary Ruth) Schuner; his cousin, Ellen (Steve) Morgan; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

There will be no formal services. Please join us for a celebration of life on Sat., Dec. 15 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Jr. Wilson Sportsman’s Club, 3875 Bates Road, Medina NY 14103.
