Michael J. Wolski
Michael J. Wolski, 68, passed away on Sept. 4, 2020. Michael was born on March 11, 1952 to Eugene and Virginia (Kozlowski) Wolski in Buffalo, N.Y.
Michael graduated from Barker High School in 1971. He attended BOCES, where he obtained a trade degree in electricity. Michael worked for over 20 years at Trek Inc. in Medina, where he met his wife, Linda. Michael enjoyed hunting and farming on his property in Barker. He was an avid Yankees fan who enjoyed watching the games with his children. Michael spent many years coaching softball and took pride in coaching his daughters.
Michael was married to Linda Wolski on Sept. 20, 1986. They were approaching their 34th wedding anniversary. Michael cherished time with his family, including his many nieces and nephews. Everyone who knew Michael remembers him as an avid storyteller who could fill a room with laughter.
Michael is survived by his wife, Linda; and his daughters, Kari (Roger) Jones and Jessie (Benjamin) Birch. He was a loving grandfather to his only grandson, Brock Birch. He is also survived by his four sisters, Elizabeth (William) Ryan, Pamela (Chris) Stratton Sr., Laurie (Vince) Hetrick and Judi Thilk; and his sisters-in-law, Patricia (Brian) Albone and Carlene (Larry) Stockwell.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Virginia Wolski.

Family and friends may call at Rutland-Corwin Funeral Home, Inc., 2670 Main St., Newfane, on Fri., Sept. 25 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Our Lady of the Lake Parish, Barker, on Sat., Sept. 26 at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
