Michael RobareAmerican flagMichael E. Robare, 54, of Medina, entered into rest on Wed., March 27, 2019 at Strong Memorial Hospital. He was born Sept. 24, 1964 in Albion, a son of the late Peter E. and Rita T. (LaClair) Robare.

He graduated from Kendall High School, class of 1983. A proud Marine, he served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1983 to 1989. Michael worked for Claims Recovery Financial Services in Albion. He was an avid reader, writer, and champion coffee drinker.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his older brother, Steven Robare.

He is survived by  his sisters, Rita “Lizzy” Schoeps, Helen Robare and Gale Morehouse; niece/daughter, Tressa (Marjoe) Aguiling; nephews, Scott (Kelly) Schoeps and Jason (Nicole) Robare; many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and one very special aunt, Doris LaClair.

Calling hours will be held on Sat., April 6 from 2 to 5 p.m. at Cooper Funeral Home, 215 W. Center St., Medina, where military honors will be accorded by members of Lincoln Post #1483, V.F.W and Butts-Clark Post #204, American Legion.
