Maynard Earl Manley

American flagALBION – Maynard Earl Manley 84, passed away Nov. 28, 2020 at Unity Hospital.  He was born March 25, 1936 in Addison, NY., the son of the late Harry and Margaret (Walworth) Manley.

Earl served in the U.S. Marine Corp. from Jan. 14, 1954 to Jan. 13, 1957.  Earl was a fruit farmer at Orchard Dale Farm, Ward Wilson Farm and Nesbitt Fruit Farms.  Earl was always willing to tell a good joke to anyone that would listen.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Marjorie; daughter, Melinda (James Willis) Manley; grandchildren: Steven (Meghan) Elwen, Michael E. Manley, Keith Manley, Melissa Hallifax, Joshua Manley and Jacob Willis; great-grandchildren: Malorie Swan, Matthew Swan Jr., Michael Manley III, Benjamin Manley, Samuel Manley, Autumn McIntire, Zoee McIntire, Kayden Elwen, Grayson Elwen and Dean Joseph Manley; sisters: Dorothy “Peggy” Manley and Rebecca (Sal) Buck; brother, Nelson Manley and several nieces, nephews, cousins.  Earl was predeceased by his son, Michael Manley; grandson, Joseph Manley; brothers: James, Manley, Wilbur Manley and Henry Enderle Jr.

Earl’s funeral service will be held at the North Point Chapel, 19 N. Platt St. Albion, NY on Fri., Dec. 4 at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will be in Bath National Cemetery.

Please note the church will be operating at 33% capacity per state guidelines. New York State requires those in attendance to adhere to the social distancing guidelines and face coverings are mandatory.
